Wholesale prices of petroleum products down
October 26 through November 2, 2009, Ukraine's average wholesale prices of high-octane gasoline and diesel fuel dropped by 0.3%-0.9% (0.7% on the average), and the prices of low-octane gasoline rose by 0.1%, the А-95 consulting group reported.
Thus, the wholesale prices of А-80 increased by 0.1% to UAH 8,420 per ton; А-92 fell by 0.3% to UAH 8,720 per ton, А-95 by 0.9% to UAH 8,780, and diesel fuel by 0.8% to UAH 7,000 per ton.
Ukraine consumes about 16 million tons of petroleum products a year, including 5 million tons of gasoline and diesel fuel each, and 6 million tons of boiler oil.
