Ukrzaliznytsia transports over 17 million tons of grain since year-start
A total of 17.078 million tons of grain was transported by rail in Ukraine as of November 23, compared to 11.42 million tons transported over the same period in 2008, the press service of the state-run rail operator Ukrzaliznytsia has reported.
A total of 5,108 grain cars were loaded with grain at port railway stations, grain silos, and grain terminals.
Ukrzaliznytsia's inventory rolling stock includes 11,579 grain cars.
