Ukraine produced first 35 thsd tons of grains – N.Prysiazhnyuk
Ukraine produced the first 35 thsd tonnes of grains, announced Nikolay Prysiazhnyuk, Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine, on June 20. According to him, southern oblasts of Ukraine started the harvesting works.
The Minister also noted that the recent rains in Ukraine favorably influenced the condition of agricultural crops sowings. He said that earlier the Ministry had some concerns because of the dry weather.
At the same time, N.Prysiazhnyuk suggested that hot and dry weather had an impact on yields of barley and soybean.
