Ukraine. Over 27 million tons of early crops and legumes harvested
According to the latest reports of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, as of August 5, Ukraine had harvested 27.16 million tons of grain from an area of almost 11 million hectares (94%). The average yield of grain and leguminous crops is 24.7 centners per hectare.
In particular, 16.93 million tons of wheat with an average yield of 28.2 centners per hectare, 8.95 million tons of barley (21.1 centners per hectare), 424.7 thousand tons of rye (17.7 centners per hectare), and 477.6 thousand tons of peas (17.2 centners per hectare) were threshed.
791.8 thousand hectares of rape was also threshed. 1.333 million tons of oilseeds were harvested, with an average yield of 16.8 centners per hectare.
