Ukraine: Ministry of Agrarian Policy estimates flour export potential at the level of 300 thsd tonnes
In the current MY Ukraine will possibly supply nearly 300 thsd tonnes of flour on foreign markets, informed Sergey Kvasha, Director of the Department of economic development and agrarian market of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, on July 13.
S.Kvasha noted that flour exports from Ukraine is not popular because it is more difficult compared to supplies of grains in the sphere of storage and transportation. At the same time, he believes that Ukrainian flour could be delivered quite well, particularly on Asian markets.
In addition, S.Kvasha admits that the supply of flour may be some alternative to grain exports, which is subject to the export duties until the end of the year.
