Ukraine. Meat production grows by 8% in Q1, 2010
Meat production in Ukraine in the first quarter of 2010 totaled 710,400 tons in the live weight, which was 8% more than in the same period of 2009, the State Statistics Committee has reported.
Milk production declined by 2.7% in January-March 2010 year over year, to 2.011 million tons, whereas egg production fell by 4.2%, to 3.661 billion eggs.
