Ukraine may ratify grains trade convention
The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has approved a bill on the ratification of the Grains Trade Convention, Agriculture Minister Yuriy Melnyk has said.
He said that Ukraine had been an associate member of the International Grains Council since 1998, while in 2009 the country had been actually declared a full member of the council.
Melnyk said that the ratification of the Grains Trade Convention was the necessary legal procedure that will help legalize Ukraine's membership of the International Grains Council.
