Ukraine. GDP Up By 6% In Q2
According to the preliminary data of the State Statistics Committee, in April-June 2010, the gross domestic product increased by 6%, compared to the same period of 2009, the State Statistics Committee has reported.
Comparing with a first quarter of 2010, taking into account the seasonal factor, GDP increased by 3.9%.
The State Statistics Committee during the year specifies indicators of real gross domestic product.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in January-March 2010, the gross domestic product increased by 4.9%, compared to the same period of 2009, to UAH 218,125 million (in current prices).
In 2009, the gross domestic product declined by 15.1%, compared to 2008, to UAH 914.720 billion.
In 2008, the gross domestic product rose by 2.1%, compared to 2007.
