The industrial group Creativ (Kirovograd), one of the largest producers of fat-and-oil products, announces about the start of construction of new oil extraction plant with a capacity of processing at the level of 1700 tonnes of sunflower seeds per day.

According to the press service of the company, it is expected that the volume of investment in the plant will total nearly 49 mln USD.

Thus, beginning from May 2012 after the launch of the new plant, the general volume of seed processing of OJSC “Creativ Group” will total 2950 tonnes per day. As a result, the group expects in 2011/12 marketing year for increasing of the production capacities for processing of sunflower oil by 620.5 thsd tonnes to the level of 1076 thsd tonnes, and to increase production capacities for production of sunflower oil to the level of 473.7 thsd tonnes per year.

According to the management of Creativ Group, commissioning of the new and powerful plant can annually provide the stable market for selling of 100% of the produced volume of oilseed commodities for farmers of Kirovograd and nearby oblasts, create additional work places in the region and increase payments to the budgets of different levels.

The technology of production at the new enterprise includes the complete closed cycle with usage of modern technical equipment of the world famous companies: Desmet Ballestra Group (Belgium) and Prokop (Czech Republic).

Reference: the Industrial Group Creativ is the largest Ukrainian producer of fats and margarines with the market share of nearly 30% and the third largest producer of refined sunflower oil.

Plants of Creativ Group produce commodities under the trademarks "Sonola," "Kum" and "Maslovia".

The holding unites the assets of enterprises for production of fat-and-oil products, processing of soybeans, sunflower seeds, elevator systems for storage of raw materials, transportation companies, agricultural enterprises.
