Ukraine: average purchasing prices for grains and oilseeds reduced – Ministry of Agrarian Policy
During the period of June 27 – July 3, 2012, the average purchasing prices for several varieties of grains and oilseeds in Ukraine reduced compared to the previous week, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the Ministry, as of July 3 the average purchasing price for wheat reduced by 1% compared to the previous Tuesday. In particular, the prices for 3-grade wheat totaled 1702 UAH/t, 4-grade wheat - 1638 UAH/t, 6-grade - 1553 UAH/t.
The average purchasing prices fir maize also decreased by 1% - to 1622 UAH/t.
The Ministry also marked a reduction of the purchasing price for sunflower seed by 1% - to 3810 UAH/t, buckwheat – 4448 UAH/t.
At the same time, the price of 3-grade barley remained at the previous week level, and totaled 1626 UAH/t.
The price of rapeseed grew by 1% compared to the previous week – to the level of 4323 UAH/t.
