Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov charged the number of ministries to develop and submit to the Government specific proposals for dealing with such problems as increased capacity for grain storage and logistics development in the industry. The Head of Government told this at a Cabinet session.

According to him, to harvest in time and have no loss it is only half of business. "Good years for the crops have proved that we have lack of certain capacities for storage of grain. We need modern elevators to store state and regional reserves. Such elevators should be built or modernized those that exist. And do it carefully, step by step, with an eye to the future: to increase in population and rapid increase in meat production" - Mykola Azarov said.

But he added that Ukraine needs more, and immediately, Portal elevators both at sea and on the Dnieper. " We also have this unique logistics simply dominant in the middle of Ukraine; sin is not to use it!" the Prime Minister noted.

According to Mykola Azarov, in this issue of state and private sector should work together: "This is a classic example of the possibilities of public-private partnership. Do we use these opportunities? I will say directly: we use these possibilities poor. "
Equally important and urgent as the Head of Government stressed, is the necessity to remove obstacles in the registration of documents in the course of export of grain.

"Why does "one stop window" for registration of documents during the peak export did not work on Saturdays, Sundays and on holidays? Are we interested to break rhythm of shipment of grain for export? " asked PM. - Why enterprises for processing and storage of grain are made each year to collect a huge set of documents and get paid a certificate of conformity? It is every year. What kind of extortion? Enterprises are responsible for their own pocket money of quality of grain! Why train cars cart grain shipments only 15% of the time, and 75% they are idle? Who is interested in downtime?

All these questions, the Prime Minister should get a response. He added that these obstacles can be eliminated elementary by proper organization of work.

"I entrust the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ministry of Infrastructure and Ministry of Finance to consider these and other comments made by market participants, experts, NGOs and to offer government optimal solutions" Mykola Azarov said.
