State Statistics Committee: Nov 2 buckwheat crop totaled 216,100 MT
As of Nov 02/09, agrarians have harvested 216,100 MT buckwheat, down 20.4% against Nov 02/08, reported State Statistics Committee.
As to Committee, buckwheat has been harvested at 247,200 ha (down 8.6% as of Nov 02/08).
Reportedly, this year buckwheat average yield is 8,7 metric centners per ha (down 1,3 metric centners per ha against last year similar).
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, as of Oct 01/09, agrarians harvested 197,400 MT buckwheat (down 3.5% as of Oct 01/08).
As to Agro Perspective, 2008 buckwheat crop totaled 240,600 MT (in terms of weight after additional processing), up 23,200 MT (+ 10.7%) against 2007.
2007 buckwheat crop totaled 217,400 MT (in terms of weight after additional processing), down 11,900 MT (- 5.2%) against 2006.
