Sergiy Tigipko: The Government will set up a company to support exporters
The Government is going to create a state company that will be providing guarantees for export contracts to large Ukrainian producers.
The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergiy Tigipko announced this today visiting the SE "Plant of 410th civil aviation" in Kyiv.
"The state support for exporters - is, first and foremost, guarantees under contracts. We have prepared a bill that addresses this issue, and in September it will be considered by the Verkhovna Rada [Parliament]. There will be set up a special agency to support exports," said Sergiy Tigipko.
The Vice Prime Minister pointed out that such companies exist, particularly in France, Germany and Italy, and provide support and guarantees of contracts exporters.
"Our enterprises are absolutely competitive in foreign markets. The only problem is that they compete with companies having the backing of state or government export banks in their countries," said Sergiy Tigipko.
The Vice Prime Minister is confident Ukraine must strengthen the struggle for the presence of their companies in foreign markets.
"It's necessary to be at war on markets. Nobody can guarantee for us the comfortable conditions in the markets of foreign countries, including Russia. We must win this fight due to the competitive advantages of our producers," Sergiy Tigipko believes.
