Rybak predicts new budget will start working from February 1
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak has predicted that a new state budget will start working from February 1, 2014.
He said this at a briefing on Wednesday, while summing up the results of the parliament's work for 2014.
"I hope that the new budget will start working from February 1," Rybak said.
He expressed hope that the state budget would be adopted as a whole on January 16, when it is to be considered.
Rybak said that lawmakers have time to work on the budget and put forward their proposals by January 8.
