Russia to start commodity interventions of maize production volumes of 2008
From February 1, 2010, Russia will start commodity interventions of maize harvest volumes of 2008 production, declared the media department of OJSC United grain company on January 28.
The first commodity exchange actions will take place on February 1, 3 and 5, 2010.
As a reminder, the intervention fund plans to provide action of 3-grade maize. Selling of maize of the intervention fund on behalf of the government will be realized by the agent, authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia – OJSC United grain company.
