Russia resumed grain exports in "moderate" rate
Despite the statement that on July 1 the Russian ports exported over 1 mln tonnes of milling wheat, the market experts reported to APK-Inform Agency that the information can not be true.
Experts report that to date the ports really are loading grain volumes. Besides, the range of vessels is also approaching to the ports. However, market operators noted that, basing on the technical capacities and capabilities of the ports, the reporting volume can not be downloaded and passed customs clearance within one working day.
Customs clearance started after July 2, 2011, only.
Previously, several market experts reported that in July 2011 grain exports from Russia will not exceed the level of 1.5-1.7 mln tonnes.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation believes that in the current agricultural year Russia will export 15-17 mln tonnes of grains.
According to analysts of APK-Inform Agency, the grain export potential of Russia in 2011/12 MY is estimated at the level of 17 mln tonnes (2010/11 MY - 4 mln tonnes).
