Prices for bread products not to get essentially increased
According to Anatoliy Telnykh, chair of the food industry workers' union, in the spring of 2010, the producers of bread and bakery products are not planning to essentially increase the prices of their goods.
In his words, the global rise in grain prices provoked a rise in the prices of bread. But in Ukraine the tendency of bread price rise will be less visible: "Ukrainian bakeries make bread of domestic raw materials and have not yet experienced this global tendency," Telnykh explained. In the expert's words, the current prices of bread more depend on the state policy and moves aimed at support of the branch.
