On April 15, the intervention fund of Russia purchased 22.95 thsd tonnes of grains
On April 15, 2010, the National commodity exchange (Russia) provided the regular exchange auction within the bounds of the public purchasing interventions on the market of grains. The government purchased 22.95 thsd tonnes of grains at the general sum of 76.73 mln RUR, declared the media department of CJSC National commodity exchange.
During the whole auction period, the government purchased 1.84 mln tonnes of grains from agricultural producers, including 1.41 mln tonnes of 3-grade wheat, 357.61 thsd tonnes of 4-grade wheat, and 66.15 thsd tonnes of rye, at the general sum of 6.95 bln RUR.
The average weighted price of 3-grade wheat, purchased to the intervention fund, totaled 4070.2 RUR/t, 4-grade wheat – 3521.5 RUR/t, rye – 2335.6 RUR/t.
