Moldova started the harvesting campaign-2011
On July 12, almost all regions of the Republic of Moldova started the harvesting campaign-2011, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Moldova.
The average yield of winter wheat, which in the current year occupies 275 thsd ha, totals 3.1 t/ha, winter barley (55 thsd ha) - 2.6 t/ha.
In central and southern regions of the country, agrarians will also have to harvest peas throughout 12 thsd ha and rapeseed (39 thsd ha).
The Ministry of Agriculture of Moldova informed that agrarians will complete the harvesting works in 15-20 days.
