Large-scale merger on Ukrainian oilseed market
The company Kernel announced that on January 13, 2010, the company completed the call agreement, which provided to the company the right to purchase the controlling block of shares of the group of companies Allseeds, declared the media-department of the Group of Companies Kernel.
Allseeds carries on own main business in Ukraine, and deals with production and exports of vegetable oils. The business assets of Allseeds are located in Ukraine and include oil-extraction plants, grain elevators and one terminal for shipment and exports of oils.
Kernel plans to purchase the pecuniary reward at the level of 42 mln USD for the mentioned controlling block of shares in the terms of receiving the admittance from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for purchasing and successful completion of the complex examination of the business activity of Allseeds, realized by the company Kernel in the current moment.
