Kazakhstan: prices for sold agricultural products grew by 9.7%
In the first quarter of 2011, prices for sold agricultural products in Kazakhstan increased by 9.7% compared to the same period of 2010, declared the Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In March 2011, prices for products of the plant growing industry, sold by agricultural organizations, grew by 11.1% compared to December 2010 indices. In January-March period of 2011, wheat prices increased by 12.4%, oats prices – up 9.4%, barley – up 9.3%, buckwheat – up 4.4%, rye – up 4.2%, maize – up 2.3%, rice – up 2.2%.
