In the first half year, Ukraine increased output of agricultural products by 3.2%
In the first half year of 2011, the general production of agricultural commodities in Ukraine increased by 3.2% compared to the same period of 2010, including in agricultural enterprises – up 6.9%, and households of the population – down 0.2%, declared the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
In January-June period, agrarian enterprises of Ukraine increased the production volumes of plant growing commodities by 3.5% compared to the same period of 2010.
Agrarian enterprises increased the general volume of sold agricultural products of own actual production by 5% compared to January-June of 2010, including plant growing products – down 2%.
The average selling prices of Ukrainian agricultural products of agrarian enterprises increased by 23% compared to the same period of 2010, including plant growing products – up 51%.
In June 2011, the average selling prices of agricultural products decreased by 7% compared to April 2011, including plant growing products – down 7%.
