During the first decade of May, the condition of winter crops sowings in Ukraine was mainly good and satisfactory.
According to the data of the Hydrometeorological centre of Ukraine, separate regions of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea faced worsening of the sowings condition to the unsatisfactory state. Many winter wheat field areas of Kiev, Poltava, Khmelnitskiy oblasts faced the icterus illness, Lugansk oblast - drying of winter rye sowings, Khesron oblast - various morbid affections of winter crops sowings.
Many winter rapeseed sowings started to blossom.
