In 2011 Ukraine to produce nearly 50 mln tonnes of grains – N.Prysiazhnyuk
Ukrainian agrarians reached the record levels of grain production, declared Nikholay Prysiazhnyuk, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
According to the head of the Ministry, in the current year Ukraine will produce nearly 50 mln tonnes of grains. Milling grains will form nearly 60% of the harvested crop.
Only twice Ukraine achieved such indicators - in 1990 and 2008. Ukrainian agrarians can be proud of the harvest, said the Minister.
