HarvEast became a member of UCAB
Agricultural holding HarvEast became a member of Ukrainian Agribusiness Club Association (UCAB). HarvEast agriholding makes significant contribution to develop agricultural business in Ukraine by producing competitive agricultural products of the best quality and improving employment conditions in this industry.
"HarvEast appeared on the market this year, but has already reached good results working with the assets that historically have been unprofitable. We believe that participation of HarvEast in the projects of UCAB will have positive impact on the formation and development of agriculture of Ukraine", Alex Lissitsa, President UCAB, said.
HarvEast is a Ukrainian holding managing agricultural assets in Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Cherkassy and Zhitomir oblasts and the Crimea. Areas of activity: crop production (wheat, sunflower, barley, perennial grasses, maize, fodder sorghum); livestock breeding (cattle, dairy farming, pig breeding farms, poultry); compound feed production, seed crop rearing.
Established on 10 March 2011, the Holding took control over the agricultural assets of Ilyich Steel Plant. HarvEast Holding shareholders are SCM Group and Smart-Holding Group.
