Grain production to total 46-47 mln tonnes in 2010
In 2010, the general production of grains in Ukraine will approximately total nearly 46-47 mln tonnes, declared Nikolay Prysiaghniuk, the Minister of Agrarian Policy.
N.Prysiaghniuk informed that the sowing areas of winter and spring crops totals nearly 15 mln ha.
According to him, in the context of the earning possibility for grain producers, high carry-over stocks of grains of the last year harvest is the only critical issue for the agricultural industry of Ukraine, which will impact the price situation on the grain market in 2010.
