Government planning to set up agrarian bank
The Cabinet of Ministers will initiate the creation of a special agrarian bank, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has today addressed a gathering timed to the Day of Agricultural Workers, Tymoshenko's official website reports.
"In the first quarter of 2010 we will initiate the creation of a special agrarian bank, which finally let us build an efficient state policy to ensure liquidity of this bank and, as a result, crediting not on leftovers, but based on the technological opportunities and demands of agrarian production," Tymoshenko emphasized.
According to her, a crediting policy should be built with global market pricing taken into account so that there is no need to repay loans in times when grain is the cheapest in the market.
