Government control over products safety to simplify their exports to EU, Azarov says
The government will consider a bill on state control in the field of ensuring the safety and quality of food and feeds, which will harmonize Ukrainian legislation with EU directives and regulations, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday.
Such control will simplify access of Ukrainian products to the EU market, Azarov said.
He added that the bill regulates the exercise of control of safety and quality of raw materials for food production.
