Furshet to launch four supermarkets before end of 2009
Before the end of 2009, the second top Ukraine's retail chain Furshet will launch four supermarkets in Kirovograd, Sevastopol, and Simferopol (two). In the first quarter of 2010, the company intends to launch stores in Kiev, Rovno, Kamenets-Podolsk, Kremenchug, and Fastov. The chain's turnover is expected to amount to USD 750mn in 2009 (down 31.8% against 2008).
