Food Corporation by late 2014 to supply one mln t of grain to China under CCEC quota
PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation by the end of 2014 to fully fulfill the general credit agreement on grain exports from Ukraine, supplying corn to China in the volume agreed with China's partner CCEC.
Corporation chairman Petro Vovchuk told reporters that, in accordance with 19 agreements for the supply of maize to the Chinese market in the amount of 1.08 million tonnes under the quota of CCEC signed in September this year, as of December 1 some eight ships with about 400,000 tonnes had been sent.
Commenting on the delivery schedule for this year, Vovchuk noted that in agreement with the Chinese side it was adjusted, and the contracts were extended until December 31.
"Currently four more vessels are being loaded. The whole volume (1.08 million tonnes) will be sent, and in late December we will sign a contract with CCEC for another quota. We consider the quota they receive for maize imports," the expert said.
