EBRD approved two loans to an amount of $125 Ml for Ukrainian banks
The Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) approved two loans totaling $125 Ml for Ukrainian financial institutions. The loans are intended for continuing crediting of the real sector of Ukraine’s economy.
After the formalities, the EBRD is going to extend a subordinate loan to the joint-stock bank UkrSotsBank, which is part of UniCredit Group, in order to support the bank’s own capital and to provide it with money for crediting Ukrainian enterprises. Also, the EBRD plans to grant a $25 Ml loan to the company UniCredit Leasing Ukraine.
