Belarus harvested over 8 mln tonnes of grains
As of August 31, in Belarus all categories of agricultural enterprises produced 8.004 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the country.
Generally, agrarians harvested cereals and leguminous crops throughout the areas of 2.222 mln ha (98.1% of the sowing areas).
Belarus harvested buckwheat throughout 13.2 thsd ha (35.6%), the production volumes totaled 20.3 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 15.4 c/ha. Agrarians harvested millet throughout 7.6 thsd ha (58.9%), the production volumes totaled 17.2 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 22.8 c/ha.
Agrarians harvested rapeseed throughout 280.8 thsd ha (94.4%), the production volumes totaled 461.8 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 16.4 c/ha. Agrarians harvested flaxseed throughout the areas of 61.2 thsd ha (99.2%).
All oblasts of the country already began sowing winter grains. Belarus already sowed winter grains throughout 51 thsd ha (3.3% of the plan).
