As of Jan-Jun, agrarians shortened sugar sales by 15.9%, down to 196,512 MT
As to State Statistics Committee report, in Jan-Jun 2009 agricultural companies have lowered sugar sales to 196,512 MT, down 37,217 MT(- 15.9%) as of Jan-Jun 2008.
As for Jan-Jun 2009 sugar sales structure, agrarians have given 1.5% total sugar to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries and 2% − to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment.
As to Committee, 4.8% sugar were sold on markets, 91.7% – through other trade channels.
As to report, in Jan-Jun 2008 agricultural companies sold 233,729 MT sugar.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, in Jan-May 2009 agrarians reduced sugar sales to 159,531 MT, down 39,267 MT (- 19.5%) against Jan-May 2008.
