Agriculture slowing down development rates
The agriculture will not become a driver for the Ukrainian economy, since it gradually slows down development rates and even may show minus over two recent months. The NBU regards a negative dynamics as quite possible.
At the year start, in January, the agricultural sector showed plus 0.5% of a growth. Over nine months, an index increased to almost 3.5%. And in ten months - total result was fixed at 0.1%. And it is under the existing yield of grain crops approximately at 45 million tons.
"0.1% is less than 0.5% in January. Thus, if in November-December this 0.1 transforms into minus 0.1, it will be a bottom," head of the NBU Advisers Group Valeriy Lytvytsky says.
