Agreement with EU will open new opportunities for export of Ukrainian products to Europe - expert
Signing of the agreement with the EU by Ukraine will open good possibilities for European export to national agricultural producers.
President of the Ukrainian Analytical Center Oleksandr Okhrimenko has said about this on air of the BTV channel, Ukrinform reports.
The draft agreement really contains very interesting possibilities for export of foodstuffs to the territory of Europe. There are quotas, at the same time, they are profitable for us. Yes, there is a transition period there, there are customs duties, etc., but actually it turns out that we... if we sign this agreement, certainly not starting from December, but from next year, we will be able to send the major part of products to Europe, the expert noted.
To remind, the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU may be signed at the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius (Lithuania) in November this year.
