Agreement with EU to create new opportunities for Ukraine and Customs Union - Azarov
The signing of the Association Agreement and its Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between Ukraine and the European Union will create additional opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and the Customs Union.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said this at a joint press conference with his Belarusian counterpart Mikhail Myasnikovich in Minsk on Monday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"The signing of the Association Agreement with the EU will certainly not end the stage of cooperation with Belarus and the Customs Union, but, quite the contrary, in our opinion, there will be more opportunities and incentives to develop cooperation," Azarov said.
Ukraines prime minister also said that expert groups would soon study the problems that may arise after the signing of the Association Agreement.
"We agreed that our expert teams will soon study possible problems that may arise, but they will most likely focus on how to resolve these problems, and how to use that circumstance for the comprehensive development of our relations," he said.
