Agrarians Jan-Sept poultry sales up 15.2%, to 672,067 MT
As to State Statistics Committee report, in Jan-Sept 2009 agricultural companies have improved poultry sales to 672,067 MT, up 88,854 MT
(+ 15.2%) as of Jan-Sept 2008.
As for Jan-Sept 2009 poultry sales structure, agrarians have sold 8% total poultry to processing companies; 0.2% were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries.
As to Committee, 5.2% poultry were sold on markets, 86.6% – through other trade channels.
As to report, in Jan-Sept 2008 companies sold 583,213 MT poultry.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, in Jan-Aug 2009 agricultural companies had strengthened poultry sales to 587,658 MT, up 75,914 MT (+ 14.8%) as of Jan-Aug 2008.
