Agrarian Fund purchases over 286,000 tons of grain under spot contracts
In 2009 the Agrarian Fund purchased 286.2 thousand tons of the 2009 harvest grain under spot contracts having thus completely fulfilled the task set, the Agriculture Ministry has reported.
The Agrarian Fund extended loans to the farmers at UAH 753,570 million (USD 1 - UAH 8.005) against security of 1 million tons of grain last year.
Moreover, the Fund sold in 2009 almost 2.3 million tons of grain at UAH 2.75 billion.
