Agrarian Fund from March 30 to start forward purchase of 1.29 m t of grain
The Agrarian Fund from March 30, 2012 is to start forward purchases of bread wheat and rye of the 2012 harvest in consignments of from 500 tonnes, reads a media report on Tuesday.
The report says that the fund will buy 1.294 million tonnes of grain.
The fund said that minimum intervention prices that will be set for forward purchases for second class wheat are UAH 1,859 per tonne, for third class wheat UAH 1,750 per tonne, and for the fourth class wheat UAH 1,679 per tonne.
The minimum price for first class rye was set at UAH 1,725 per tonne, for second class rye UAH 1,643 per tonne, and for third class rye UAH 1,565 per tonne.
