This year harvest of potatoes will be at the level of last year - 23 million tons
This year in all types of farms it is planted 1.432 million hectares of potatoes. This enables harvesting at the level of last year - about 23 million tons. This was informed by Oleksandr Sen, the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food.

Agricultural production in Ukraine 7.4% up in H1, 2012
Agricultural output in Ukraine in January-June this year increased by 7.4% compared to the corresponding period last year, and in particular the increase in production at commercial farms was 11.8%, while that at private farms was 4.4%, the State Statistical Service of Ukraine has said.
