Retail sales of alcoholic drinks may be restricted
It is offered to permit sales of alcoholic drinks in Ukraine only in specialised stores, or in departments with a separate entrance. Outlets selling alcohol products are offered to be opened at least 200 metres far from children's, educational, scientific, health protection institutions and at least 100 metres far from state institutions and military bases.

Oil World sees booming US soya exports from October
US exports of soyabeans, soya oil and meal are expected to rise sharply from October but will not be able to offset a sharp decline in South American supply, Hamburg-based oilseeds analysts Oil World said on Tuesday. Delayed harvesting in several parts of the United States has contributed to scarce soyabean supplies at US export locations, but Oil World expects the situation to reverse in coming months as harvesting picks up.

Crimea increased grain sales by 7.6%
During January-August of 2009, agricultural enterprises of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Ukraine) sold 457.6 thsd tonnes of grains, an increase of 7.6% compared to the same period of the previous year, declared the Main department of statistics of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

Import of three producers' chicken meat and pork banned
Import of frozen chicken meat produced by the Belgian company Kipco-Damaco and Germany's Trinity GMBH as well as frozen pork by the Polish producer Zaklady Miesne Konskowola has been banned by the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine.
