All grains showed price increase last week. Food wheat increased in price on 50 UAH/t, feed wheat – on 30 UAH/t, barley – on 20 UAH/t and corn – on 30 UAH/t mostly due to instability on foreign currency market and limited supply of cultures from the side of agricultural producers, who are waiting for further prices increase. At the market of oilseeds there were also upward price trends: sunflower seeds increased in price on 550 UAH/t, soybean – on 400 UAH/t, rapeseed – on 300 UAH/t due to stable demand with limited supply at the market.
Wheat:
- increase of food and feed wheat price (EXW);
- low supply level due to devaluation of national currency;
- decrease of price on main international exchanges.
Barley:
- increase of EXW price;
- stable FOB price;
- low trade activity level.
Corn:
- increase of EXW (UAH) price;
- decrease of FOB price.
Sunflower:
- increase of EXW (UAH) prices on sunflower seeds;
- increase of sunflower oil price, EXW;
- increase of sunflower cake price.
Soybeans:
- increase of purchasing prices;
- high demand level from the side of export companies;
- low supply level.
Rapeseed:
- increase of price;
- low demand from the side of export companies;
- supply of rapeseed was almost absent.
